Data and Privacy becomes increasingly inter-connected in the era of big data，and meanwhile privacy protection is now heavily influenced by data practices. Data privacy is currently the focus of privacy protection that we need to attach importance to. The data revolution fueled by technological advances makes the privacy more important in the human right system，especially in the cyberspace. This study illustrates the relevant data privacy issues，analys the relationship between data and privacy，and shed light on data-related challenges. It mainly discuss the current measures taken by Chinese government in 2014，along with its impact and implications. The study aims to offer advice for development of Chinese privacy law.
