The paper first presents the contents regarding the civilization image promotion in transportation industry，and introduces the general situation of the civilization image promotion in Guangzhou. Then it analyzes the deficiencies and problems in the organization，leadership，brand building，the fostering of advanced models，publicity，education，and humanistic care for workers，etc.that are associated with the establishment of the civilization image of Guangzhou’s transportation industry. Besides，with the combination of the actual transportation work in Guangzhou，the paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions on the systematic enhancement of the civilization image of the transportation industry in Guangzhou.
