The paper，beginning with the aviation industry，emphatically analyzes the advantages and prospects of Guangzhou developing the general aviation industry. On this basis，it proposes some suggestions for Guangzhou to seize the opportunities in the development of the general aviation industry，including making and perfecting the development planning for general aviation industry，creating the industry clusters，actively accepting international industrial transfer，and establishing the management system for air emergencies in the city.
