Developing fashion industry is an important way to realize the transformation and upgrade of industry in Wuhan, and to make the national fashion. This paper describes the status quo of the development of the fashion industry in Wuhan City, and analyzes the opportunities and challenges, advantages and disadvantages of the development of the fashion industry in Wuhan by using the SWOT analysis framework, and puts forward the path of the development of the fashion industry in Wuhan. The research found that the fashion industry in Wuhan is facing the opportunity of market and resources, but also has the development risk and the challenge of the competition. At the same time, the Wuhan fashion industry itself has the advantages of development and talent, but also the lack of high-end talent, technological innovation, scale economy is not high and the formation of industrial clusters, etc.. Wuhan should seize the opportunity, face the challenge, take advantage of the advantages and disadvantages, and explore the development path of the fashion industry.
