Wuchang is a famous historical and cultural city in China, with deep cultural heritage. Jiangcheng Wuhan as an important center city, Wuchang District has strong economic strength, cultural and educational undertakings developed and convenient transportation. These geographical advantages provide the resources endowment for the development of cultural and creative industries in the region, and lay a solid foundation for the development of cultural and creative industries. 2014 Wuchang - the Yangtze River creative design industry park was awarded the fifth national level cultural industry park, Wuchang District, the development of cultural and creative industries have made some progress. This paper intends to grasp the current situation and characteristics of cultural and creative industries in Wuchang District, and further research on the construction and development of relevant key industries. Summarize its successful development model, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for the difficulties and challenges in the development process, in order to further promote the healthy development of cultural and creative industry in Wuchang district.
