After the analysis of the power mechanism on the urbanization of Anhui province,we spatially express the regional characteristics of the urbanization level by MAPGIS software. Assigns the data of urbanization level into the block entity and the point entity and obtains the spatial distribution characteristics and spatial evolution rules. Research shows that the spatial distribution of urbanization level in Anhui province appear the urbanization level of the east region is higher than the west,the urbanization level of the south region of the Yangtze River is higher than the north region of Anhui province,the urbanization level of the city-cluster along the Yangtze River in Anhui is higher than others. The spatial evolution rules are from point-city mode (for instance Huainan,Hefei,Wuhu,Maanshan,Tongling) to line-city-cluster mode (for instance Huainan-Hefei,Wuhu-Maanshan-Tongling),then gradually the urbanization form a "triangle" network radiation trends. The urbanization level of Anhui province is upgraded by the stimulation of the Yangtze River delta area. <<
