In the post-Olympic era，sports industry has become an active industry that promotes the economic growth of Beijing and accelerates the structural transformation of economy. In order to improve the sustainable development of the capital sports industry and accelerate its development as the internatioanl sports center，the Beijing government carried out multiple policies to guide the development of the sports industry. This report reviews the history of the sports industry development in Beijing as well as China and conducts the PEST analysis towards the policies of Beijing sports industry based on the sports policy experience home and abroad. It also offers suggestions to the future development of the sports industry in Beijing in the hope of improving the sports legislation and the reform of the sports system.
