In 2014，China kept achieving new progress human resources and social security reform and development. The total volume of human resources remained stable and the quality kept improving. The unemployment rate stayed at a relatively low level. Human resources were distributed in different industries in a more optimized way. The social security system as a whole was improved. This report reviews the recent development of human resources and social security in China from a holistic view，including current situation of human resources，legislation，employment trend，personnel system reform，income distribution，social security and labour relations. The report also identifies major challenges and key tasks facing China in the future.
