Through the study of the relationship between social economic variables，environmental quality factors and subjective well-being，explore how to improve the utilization of social resources in enhancing the well-being. 1012 residents in 8 communities in four districts of Beijing city were investigated by questionnaire survey. Social communication level and health level are at a higher level. Social justice and government satisfaction are at a moderate level. Risk perception is at a high level. The subjective quality of the environment in different gender，age，education level and income were significantly different.
