This paper analyzes the relation between innovation activities and innovation input and output of the industrial above the designated size, which is of importance in finding the current problems of industrial activities among the districts industries,and industries departments and enterprises in Guangzhou and its improvement direction, accelerating the industrial enterprises innovation, further stimulate the overall vitality of the industrial sector and industry innovation system, and improving industrial innovation activities efficiency and capability, as well as improving Guangzhou's economic development. This paper argues that, industrial innovation activities are different among the Guangzhou districts. Luogang's overall score of industrial innovation activities is the highest; Huangpu, Huadu, Panyu and Tianhe have some certain of industrial innovation activities; the industrial innovation activities in Haizhu, Baiyun, Nansha and Liwan are lower than the average level; the industrial innovation activities in Yuexiu, Conghua and Zengcheng are very few, but are of great potential. Among the 30 departments of stronger in industrial innovation activities, the industrial innovation activities focus on manufacturing of transport equipment, manufacturing of telecommunications, computers and other electronic equipment which are associated with high-tech, manufacturing of textile garments, footwear and headgear, waste resources and materials recycling and processing, and timber processing, wood, bamboo, cane, palm fiber and straw products have little, even no industrial innovation activities. In the relation of industrial innovation activities input and output, R&D expenditure is highly positive correlation with new product sales revenue. Meanwhile, the awareness of IPR protection of the industrial enterprises above the designated size in Guangzhou is gradually increased, which laid a good foundation for a larger industrial innovation activities revenue in the future. <<
