The development of high-tech industry significantly indicates the economic competitive strength of a country or region, and its development strategy is the focus of every country's scientific and technological strategy in the world. In recent years, technological innovation of Guangzhou high-tech industry was highly valued by the government and society. Guangzhou government fully implemented the strategy of relying on science and education to rejuvenate the city, and further put forward relevant policies to encourage independent innovation of high-tech industry. The investment of innovation is increasing; at the same time, it is equally important to increase the performance of the industry's technological innovation.This paper analyzed the output performance of Guangzhou high-tech industry's technological innovation from 2000 to 2008 under the background of high-tech industry's development in Guangzhou, and found out existing problems and further concluded the methods of strengthening the performance of technological innovation in high-tech industry. Also, the author analyzed the current fiscal policies for supporting the industry and recommended related advice for further improvement. <<
