This paper takes the main objective of Guangzhou recently to catch up-Hong Kong as an object, analyzes its innovation foundation, innovation input, S&T output capability, innovation performance, innovation soft environment et al., so as to reveal the Hong Kong's strengths and gaps in the field of innovation, and proposes some suggestions on Guangzhou future innovation strategy. <<
