The political basis for Sino-Russian relations is good. Although economic cooperation remains to be furthered，as long as both sides regard the relations in their overall interests and establish a correct roadmap，the long-term goals of Sino-Russian relations，jointly determined by leaders on each side，are expected to be achieved. There were some highlights in Sino-US relations in 2015，such as President Xi Jinping’s successful visit to the United States，the ongoing bilateral military exchanges，stable economic and trade relations，and so forth. But the strategic distrust between the two sides has become deeper. The hostile attitudes between Russia and the G7 have been ongoing since 2014 mainly because of the conflict in eastern Ukraine，the Western countries’ economic sanctions against Russia，the military exercises，and the crisis in Syria. In short，compared with the past two years，in 2015 Sino-Russian relations were still good，Sino-US mutual distrust was deepening，and confrontation between Russia and the Western countries remained on-going. Relations among the major countries have simply repeated last year’s status and trend.
