In 2015 the situation in West Asia and North Africa remained unstable：the recurrence of instability in Yemen，the continuing civil war in Syria，the influence of the Islamic Stateon regional order，and the fierce battle among the Iraqi government，the army，and the extremist groups. Compared with the previous year，the regional security situation in the Middle East has deteriorated further. This unstable situation will resulted in serious changes in the geopolitics of Middle East. It will lead to instability in the strategic balance among the regional forces as well as to the polarization and reconstruction of regional patterns.
