It is extremely important to establish Think Tanks of social mentality for understanding the social mentality，for regulating and guiding the social mentality，and for proposing and implementing public policy. Nowadays，social conflicts in different groups and classes tend to deepen，so construction of social psychology and cultivation of social mentality should be taken as the basic policy of a state to mobilize psychological resources of the society for achieving the great goal of rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This paper introduces the characteristics of social mentality research，the preliminary practice of social mentality，and also points out the future development of Think Tanks of social mentality.
