In the study of Think Tanks，methodology is very important to research quality. According to the main contents of Think Tank studies such as the definition，management，evolution and influence，this paper sorted out and analyzed the methodological applications of comparative study，field visit，interview study，hierarchical analysis，archival analysis，qualitative and quantitative analysis，case study，etc.，so as to provide some enlightenment and reference for the future Think Tank researchers.
