Based on the great backdrop of regional economic transition and development in China，this paper makes systematic assessment on economic scale，economic efficiency，tax contribution，industrial structure and extends of opening to the outside world of CBD. The evaluation shows that CBD in China has an active role in promoting regional coordinated development，becoming regional，even national capital allocation center，innovation leading center，operation management center，culture communication center and talent distributing center，which needs to further play its radial and driving role. Looking forward to “13th-Five-Year Plan”，China’s CBD is confronted with “5 transitions”，namely，spatial form from single center to multiple center network system，industrial development from single pattern to integrated innovation，regional cooperation from competitive development to practical cooperation，development orientation from service entity to opening and innovation. Under this background of transition，CBD leading regional coordinated development will be a significant grasp and platform to promote regional integration. Based on analyzing current situation and learning from international experience，this paper puts forward that，from the perspectives of building multi-level opening CBD network，reinforcing top design and classified guidance，strengthening regional innovation leading function，emphasizing cultivation of culture soft power，and building diversified regional cooperation platform，we should accelerate promoting regional cooperation and linkage among CBD，provide effective service，and lead regional coordinated development. <<
