Village authority structure is the political base of its order. Not only does it determines public supplies of the village，also it shapes its political ecology. Composed by the interrelation between varied authoritative sources，village authority structure consists of structural factors and formative factors，the interaction of which contributes to different authority structures in different periods. Based on the case study，its evolution tendency is marked by the atrophy of traditional elements and the expansion of modernity. Meanwhile，interpersonal relations are gradually replaced by economic relations and public affairs of the village are increasingly dominated by political and economic forces. Nevertheless，the incumbent party should show due concern about the economization of politics as well as the politicization of economy. Such tendencies must be restrained to prevent the village from being controlled by underworld powers.
