Using the theory of Durkheim，the paper analyzes the phenomena of moral decline in modern transformation. The core issue of the paper is how the common moral life was constructed in society. The thought of Durkheim on the social reconstruction and moral reconstruction is the reconstruction of social mentality. The study uses the scale of individual public moral behavior，the scale of moral tolerance，the questionnaire of self serving behavior，social moral evaluation，and the scale of job value to explore the influence of interpersonal morals of 514 urban residents.
