The updated plan of the national economic and social development，the rule of law and the human rights enterprise make new requirements on China’s legislation work in 2011.To meet with these challenging tasks，the Standing Committee of the NPC and the State Council respectively made their work plan at the beginning of the year，and successively adopted and publicized a series of new laws and regulations or amendments to the existing laws and regulations relevant to human rights.From the point of the constitutional principle and the practical need of respect for and guarantee of human rights，China’s human rights related legislation in 2011 has made obvious achievements in both the content and the technique.Meanwhile there are also some deficiencies in these two aspects.
