In 2011, Huangpu district concentrated on the overall goal of speeding up the construction of modern Binjiang urban area which is the integration of harbor and city, comfortable to live and convenient to work. Huangpu district also deepened the electronic government affairs, digitalized city and social informatization, accelerated the integration of informatization and industrialization, developed the informatization industry and uprising industry, improved the efficiency of government administration and management level of urban construction, boosted the transformation of economic development approach and innovation of social management service, obtained great progress in informatization work and has been ranked as the first bunch of trial units in provincial county sanitation informatization construction. In 2012, Huangpu district will concentrate on the building of intelligent governmental affairs, intelligent city, intelligent livelihood, and intelligent industry and move the informatization work of Huangpu district into a new stage. <<
