From 2014 to 2015，considerable progress was made in developing cultures in China，which was reflected from more complete construction of cultural system，steady progress in construction of cultural undertakings，enlarging scale of cultural production，increasingly social/economic benefits，further strengthened capacity of international cultural communication and drastic increase in cultural influence and competitiveness. Nonetheless，there are still some problems with development of Chinese cultures（including system reform，production of cultural products，international impacts and communication）that are worthy of our concern. In light of these problems and shortcomings，we need to put forward practical and feasible countermeasures.
