Language is the carrier of culture and each language reflects a cultural connotation. Thus，introducing and teaching the native language of a country to the world is an important approach to cultural communication. With the enhancement of China’s hard power and the rise of its international status，an increasing number of foreigners are beginning to learn Chinese，leading to “an enthusiasm in learning Chinese” all over the world. As an international communication organization aiming at promoting Chinese teaching and Chinese culture transmission，the Confucius Institute has been playing a significant role in strengthening China’s soft power，facilitating the cooperation and communication between China and other countries，and shaping our country’s image.
