<<The 4G mobile telecommunication in China had developed by leaps and bounds in 2015. The Number of 4G base stations exceeded that of 3G within two years. The penetration rate of 4G subscribers had increased to 30% and China became the largest 4G market in the world. Rapid growth of mobile data traffic continued in 2015 and telecommunication carriers strengthened data service monetization with “Internet+”. “Higher speed and lower price” had been regarded as the main theme of domestic mobile telecommunication industry though it still faced several challenges. Enterprises in ICT industry had innovated enthusiastically in business modes which accelerated the inter-sector fusion for wireless broadband services.
