2015 is the last year of construction of “Smart City” in Guangzhou. In the past years，Guangzhou contributed to improve information infrastructure，intelligent community management and service application，intelligent industrial development，information technology and application R&D in people’s livelihood to achieve the preset goals. This paper aims at combing the achievement and shortcomings of “Smart Guangzhou” construction in 2015，with the depth analysis of the reasons to existing problems and learning advanced experiences from other smart cities，the countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to further promote the development of Smart City construction in Guangzhou.
