The paper is based on the "investigation on citizens' opinion on Guangzhou urban situation", concentrates on the urban livelihood security, economic situation, social situation, social service, municipal situation and government work, and then stated and compared with the opinion in 2010. The result shows that citizens accept and are satisfied with the urban situation, especially in social situation and social service, but the satisfactory level on price, employment, income, housing, medical treatment, education, security, social insurance, consumption safety and other traditional livelihood items is not high. Compared with last year, the evaluation on municipal and social service is raised, however, the evaluation on economy and government work is decreased. After the income stratification, high-income residents' evaluation on urban situation presents a wide and huge gap, especially in livelihood and government work. According to the citizens, the item that should be improved and solved is concentrated on medical treatment, security, price and social fairness. <<
