Objective：To analysis and evaluation of construction and implementation effect of “The community management based on characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine” in Dongcheng District，Beijing. Methods：We interview the members of implementation of management and work leading group and ask medical staff in community health service organizations and community residents to fill in the questionnaire. Results：Through the development of “The community management based on characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine” construction project in Dongcheng District，traditional Chinese medicine （TCM） was used at the community level. The project promoted the participation of service object，mobilized the enthusiasm of residents，to make traditional Chinese medicine into the community of people’s lives. The ability of Chinese medicine services of medical institutions was enhanced. The characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine were generalized. It helped to bring about the popularity of the culture of Chinese medicine and healthy lifestyle promotion. Summary：“The community management based on characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine” in Dongcheng District，Beijing achieved the desired effect and it can be used in a wider range.
