The original ecology of Buyi ethnic dance is not only the innovation and development of Buyi’s wisdom，but the the reason why Buyi dance can spread so far. Article Took Buyi ethnic dance for the study，explored the original ecology of Buyi dance. Analyzed the essential function of Buyi dance，and explored the connotation of the original ecology. Therefore，it’s an important significance for the protection，inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage which through grasping the characteristics and content of Buyi ethnic dance.
