This survey investigates Beijing citizen’s rights protection status of living consumption problems，involves all 16 districts and counties of Beijing. The report shows that living consumption situation shows a lot of problems，especially on food and clothing. However，only 32.1% of people start protecting their rights but the frequency of rights protection behaviors is low. The ways and purposes of rights defense that the residents use are reasonable and legal. The survey analyzes the factors of rights protection behavior and offers some related proposals.
