Owing to the increasing frequency of emergency events and the development of new media，emergency science popularization，as an important component of science popularization at the community level，has turned itself into a reality demand. It is deduced in the paper that to make the conducting of emergency science popularization on a regular basis as the focal point，to place emphasis on the cultivation of resident’s awareness of handling emergency events，and to formulate the related systematic knowledge are the important ways for putting emergency science popularization in place.
