The year of 2015 is the 70th anniversary of the victory of anti-fascist war. China held a grand ceremony to celebrate the anniversary. President Xi Jinping delivered an important speech，stressed that China will unswervingly go the road of peaceful development，unswervingly promote the cause of human rights in China and the world，protect the human rights of the Chinese people in a higher level，promote people’s development in an all-round way. In the eighth session of the Beijing Forum on human rights，scholars and human rights officials carried out in-depth discussions around the reasons，attributes，position，connotation，subjects and obligations of the right to peace，and recognized the contribution made by China in protecting the right to peace.
