Established by the central government according to law，social insurance is a system where the nation，employers and individuals raise funds and offer insurances to eligible beneficiaries. In this report，the general situation of social insurance system in China is introduced. The important reform of the social insurance system in 2015 is reviewed，existing problems are analyzed，and relevant policy recommendations are given.
