Yangtze River Economic Belt occupies vital position in China’s manufacturing industry. During the 12th Five-Year Plan，due to the unfavorable international macroeconomic situation and China’s New Normal，manufacturing in Yangtze River Economic Belt was up against great challenge. However，belong with the new round industrial technological revolution and the great development in middle and west China，it also shows significant trend in structural adjustment and transition upgrades. During the 13th Five-Year Plan，Yangtze River Economic Belt will still play important role in the whole nation’s manufacturing industry. Meanwhile，manufacturing is also a primary driver for every province and city. So we must deepen structural adjustment，promote transition upgrades，encourage regional cooperation，in order to maintain manufacturing’s healthy and sustainable development.
