The world in 2016 was both complicated and chaotic. There seemed to be no correlation among some events and phenomena，but there were certain interrelated and common causes or mechanisms hidden behind them. Today we need a new X-ray machine to observe the increasingly complex，diverse，and varied world，and to help us pinpoint and resolve the existing problems so that we can pursue the goal of maximizing national interest while at the same time maximizing the well-being of all of mankind. It is particularly noteworthy that the emergence of such chaos and problems presents a challenge to existing theory and also provides an excellent opportunity for theoretical innovations.
