Poverty is widespread and severe in Gansu Province. In order to improve the effect of poverty-alleviation projects，the Party Committee in Gansu Province analyzes，arranges and performs poverty-alleviation development and strict Party inspection at the same time. Party-discipline-inspection and government-supervision institutions at all levels focus their work the problems involved in poverty-alleviation projects，including appropriating public funds，misusing public power for private interests，failing to perform responsibilities，using incorrect work methods，and so on. These institutions launched the special action of “Two Inspections，Two Protections，” to make full use of the mechanisms of inspection and supervision and to deal with the problems that harm people’s interest. These measures has protected people’s interest and ensured the implementation of the Accurate Poverty-Alleviation policies.
