The manufacturing sector is the subject of the national economy，accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry is the core mission of Jiangxi province. To promote the manufacturing industry in Nanchang is the only way to guarantee the high speed growth and the comprehensive strength of Nanchang’s economy. In this paper’s opinion，in the new round of technological revolution and the formation of China’s manufacturing industry to upgrade the historic intersection of macro environment，Nanchang must seize the historic opportunity，give full play to advantages，speed up transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing sector，make efforts to build an advanced manufacturing base in the central region.
