Analysis of the relationship between safe production and economic development in Guangzhou shows that in the period of economic social development，　many factors such as economic development level，adjustment of industry’s structure，changes of city scale and social structure have great influences on safe production. High incident of accidents in small and medium-sized enterprises，manufacturing industry，construction industry，dangerous chemical business，some districts and road traffic are the uppermost characteristic of safe production in Guangzhou. Hereby，We can take some countermeasures to enhance supervision and management of safe production in Guangzhou，such as cultivating safety conception，improving supervision and administration institutions，perfecting guidelines，strengthening supervision on small and medium-sized enterprises and key districts and industries，increasing corrective facilities，and promoting propaganda. <<
