As the foreign trade scope is being broadened continuously, the composition of Guangzhou import and export has changed. As for the commodity composition, the exported commodity composition is being optimized gradually, export market is being diversified, international labor division is being improved; the principal part of foreign trade is still foreign-funded enterprises and private enterprises; ordinary trade is still affected by the domestic consumption and policies and increases slowly, while processing trade is affected by the international market demand and increases unsteadily; service trade development picks up strong momentum. After the international financial crisis, the Europe's sovereign debt crisis has great influence on export of foreign trade, the transformation and development of Guangzhou foreign trade is confronted with enormous pressure, and further development depends on continuous development of private enterprises and foreign economy and trade cooperation. Synthesizing the said factors, the foreign trade volume of Guangzhou in 2012 increases by about 8%, among which, export increases by about 8% and export increases by about 8%, which is corresponding to the global trade increase. Supported by the structural adjustment policy, further adjustment of trade composition shall be made, processing trade shall keep increasing in transformation and upgrading course, the use of foreign investment shall increase again, and service trade shall keep developing rapidly. <<
