With China being the world's largest emitter of carbon dioxide,adaption to climate change has become a general concern in China. Against this background,this paper discusses the pressure and existing problems of carbon reduction facing Chinese cities and the construction sectors in China and describes the unremitting efforts made by the government,the academic society,and non-governmental organizations. <<
