This paper comparatively analyzed the difference between the new generation and the older generation of migrant workers in Shanghai and the difference between the new generation of migrant workers in Shanghai and the new generation of migrant workers in Beijing and Guangzhou based on the 2012 sampling survey data of national floating population and the 2010 sampling survey data of Shanghai floating population. It has been analyzed that the main obstacles of social integration of the new generation of migrant workers and put forward some suggestions of housing reform，education system，increasing the social capital of new generation of migrant workers.
