The regional economic development of the United Kingdom has obvious differences between the north and the south，and the south with a core of London has maintained a strong competitive advantage in the long term. In order to eliminate the regional economic differences，to provide new momentum for economic development，the British government tries to put forward two regional revitalization plans. However，due to the change of government，there is uncertainty about the future of the two plans. But its ideas，measures，can be used as reference for China’s urban development.
