The people’s courts in Beijing Municipality，by relying on the unified database of trial information of the courts at three different levels in the municipality，integrating various databases on judicial adjudication，judicial personnel management，judicial administration，and shared data，applying such new technologies as big data，cloud computing，and artificial intelligence，and taking unified application of law and provision of adjudicative guidance as the objectives，have carried out explorations on the construction of a big data research platform for the unification of adjudication criteria，realized the provision of whole-process，omni-bearing，and integrated adjudicative knowledge assistance and case reasoning services，and transformed supervision after adjudication into case-handling guidance before adjudication，and the adjudication based solely on experience into adjudication based on the combination of experience and data verification，thereby effectively realizing the principle of “identical adjudications for identical cases”，unifying the adjudicative criteria，and providing strong technological support for the enhancement of judicial authority and credibility.
