2015年，湖南城乡文教消费总量增长处于第9位，人均值增长处于第9位。湖南城乡文教消费需求景气评价排行结果：在省域横向测评中，2015年景气指数排名第1位；在自身纵向测评中，1995～2015年景气指数提升第16位，2000～2015年景气指数提升第13位，2005～2015年景气指数提升第14位，2010～2015年景气指数提升第6位，2014～2015年景气指数提升第16位。
<<In 2015，Hunan ranked the 9th in the increase of the total cultural consumption in urban and rural areas and the 9th in the growth of per capita value. The Rankings of the status evaluation are as follows：in the lateral evaluation among various provinces，Hunan ranked the 1st in 2015；in vertical evaluation itself，Hunan ranked the 16th，13th，14th，6th and 16th during the periods of 1995-2015，2000-2015，2005-2015，2010-2015 and 2014-2015 respectively.
