In 2015，Shanghai ranked the 21st in the increase of the total cultural consumption in city-towns and the 14th in the growth of per capita value. The Rankings of the status evaluation are as follows：in the lateral evaluation among various provinces，Shanghai ranked the 17th in 2015；in vertical evaluation itself，Shanghai ranked the 20th，31st，31st，31st and 17th during the periods of 1995-2015，2000-2015，2005-2015，2010-2015 and 2014-2015 respectively.
