With the implementation of “the rule of law as a fundamental principle”，China’s educational legal system continued to develop，which contributed to deepen China’s education reform. The three major education laws of China are Education Law，Higher Education Law and Non-state Education Promotion Law. The amendment of the three laws became a milestone of China’s education legislation，which also constitutes a solid foundation for the modernization of education governance and educational developments. The three laws were amended together to meet the need of rapid social developments；such an integrated approach was also an innovation in China’s legislation. 2016 became a year in which China’s education legislation progressed to a new level.
