Parents’ satisfaction toward school education，their evaluation of exam-oriented education and appeals for improving school education were analyzed. The results showed that parents’ satisfaction toward school education was not promising，which was between “average” and “relatively satisfied.” Parents’ satisfaction toward school education in many provinces was below the average level. Parents were more satisfied with non-governmental schools than public schools. More than half of parents thought schools where their children attended were highly exam-oriented. Parents were most concerned with and expect school reforms that encourage students’ all-round development.
