中国高等教育的大众化进程使越来越多的家庭有了第一代大学生。促进第一代大学生的学习与发展需要全面了解这一群体的特征和面临的问题。本研究使用2015年清华大学“中国大学生学习与发展追踪研究”调查项目(CCSS)数据,对家庭第一代大学生的大学前经验、大学期间就读经验及其对学校的评价和教育收获进行了分析。结果表明,第一代大学生家庭经济地位和文化资本较低,高中享有较少的优质教育资源,极少获得保送或自主招生机会,绝大多数进入地方普通高校就读。在大学期间,第一代大学生主动性学习能力、社交性人际互动表现不足;他们较少参与课外活动,兼职打工时间投入长,在扩展性和研究相关性两种高影响力教育活动上参与不足。在对学校的评价和教育收获上,第一代大学生对学校提供的社交支持评价低,感知到的沟通和领导力收获较低。第一代大学生的先赋性不利因素难以改变,在读期间缺少学业指导和经济支持,需要高校通过更好的资源配置和帮扶措施促进他们的良好发展。
<<With the popularization of higher education in China more and more families had the first generation of college students. Promoting the learning and development of the first generation of college students required a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics and problems faced by this group. In this study,the first generation of college students’ experiences gained before going to college,college-based learning experiences,their evaluation of colleges and educational outcomes were analyzed using the CCSS data from the “Follow-up Study of Chinese College Students’ Learning and Development” made by Tsinghua University. The results showed that the first generation of college students had lower family economic status and cultural capital,and rarely enjoyed high quality educational resources when in high school,seldom got the chance to be recommended for admission to be a college student. Most of them went to local colleges and universities. In the colleges and universities,those students lacked of active learning and social interpersonal interaction;they were less involved in extracurricular activities and research-related high-impact educational activities. In terms of college evaluation and educational outcomes,the first generation of college students had low ratings on perceived social support and perceived communication and leadership gains. For the first generation of college students,the unfavorable factors were difficult to change,and they lacked of academic guidance and financial support when in colleges and universities. Some measures should be taken by the colleges and universities to promote their good development through better allocation of resources and supportive means.
