Japan's economic and trade is an important part in Guangzhou's economic structure. In March 2011 Japan northeastern nine magnitude quake happened and triggered a tsunami nuclear leakage accident. Japan caused great effect on global & its domestic economy and Guangzhou was brought certain impact. Through the questionnaire survey, group discussion, telephone interview, field onsite visit, the task group conducted the research on the Guangzhou enterprise labor employment issues after the Japan earthquake and analyzed of its impact on medium and long term employment situation. According to the research, in the short term, the Guangzhou automobile, electronics, and other highly connected industries with Japan showed the increasing periods of down time and the dropping employment rate or labor scale. Employment situation appeared short-term downside fluctuations, In the medium long term, Japanese industry chain after the earthquake placed the global transfer layout, actively undertook our international industrial transfer in the high-end, higher levels to participate in the international division of labor, which created the conditions to improve the quality of economic development, a good external environment for Guangzhou recruiting more international high-end talents. The transformation bred new opportunities for the employment scale adjustment. <<
