High-end equipment manufacturing industry is the core of equipment manufacturing industry. China attaches great importance to the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry. Since 2010，a series of policies have been issued on this industry，such as the 12th Five-Year Plan for National Strategic Emerging Industry，the 12th Five-Year Plan for High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industry and Made in China 2025. Especially，Made in China 2025 clearly deployed the innovation-driven projects for high-end equipment manufacturing industry towards to high-end development. The policy system about high-end equipment manufacturing industry shows that policies focus on guidance and reference，innovative financial support，participation of social capital and all-round international cooperation. In the period of the 13th Five-Year Plan，high-end equipment manufacturing industry will continue to grow with relatively high rate，but the trend of differentiated development will still exist among different industries. Accordingly，relevant policies should be closely related to the situation of industry operation，strengthen interaction of policies，deepen the reform of institutional mechanisms，and continue to create a good market environment.
