Bioindustry is an important branch of strategic emerging industries. Central and local governments have been continuously strengthening policy support to the biotechnology industry in recent years，and the industrial policy system has basically formed. Highlights of China’s biotechnology industry policy include：abundance of fiscal and monetary policies，promotion of industrial cluster development，emphasis on innovation and public service platform construction. It is suggested to further improve the system of industrial policy；improve the legal dimension of the industrial policy；increase funding support for the biotechnology industry.
